Happy second birthday to Jack!

I could not be more proud of our little man. Jack says please and thank you, is speaking in full sentences and can tell us exactly what he wants. He is learning to take turns with toys and loves school. Most days he doesn’t want to leave.

He loves reading books, dancing to music, playing with trains and building with blocks. Jack has been practicing for his new role as a big brother. He has a baby doll that he feeds and tucks into bed. Since Jack and his sister share the same due date, she will be here any day now.

Jack is incredibly sweet, and is developing quite the sense of humor. He loves to make us laugh, and he keeps us smiling all day long.

Jack wasn’t too sure about the balloons in his room when he woke up. But once he got out of his crib and was able to play with them, he was thrilled.

Jack had a blast at his second birthday party, and definitely knew he was the guest of honor! A huge thank you to our family and friends for making this such a special day for Jack. He was so excited to see each and every one of you.

After his party, Jack opened some presents from his grandparents. Jack loved opening everything, but the best part was when he was done, and it was time to say goodbye. He threw his arms open in the middle of the room and ran from person to person, with a huge smile on his face, giving everyone a big hug. He was so genuinely happy and grateful. Which is all I wanted for him. I’m a very happy and proud mama.
