Ryan and I felt incredibly blessed to be surrounded by friends and family yesterday as we celebrated the simchat bat of Dalia Anne, Devorah Odem. Dalia is named after my Bubbie Dorothy, my cousin Amanda and Ryan’s Grandpa Bob. Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate, and everyone who was there in spirit. Dalia is one loved little girl. A big thank you to our friend Jeanne, who took all these beautiful photos. She can take over for me any time.
Jack had a blast at his second birthday party, and definitely knew he was the guest of honor! A huge thank you to our family and friends for making this such a special day for Jack. He was so excited to see each and every one of you.
After his party, Jack opened some presents from his grandparents. Jack loved opening everything, but the best part was when he was done, and it was time to say goodbye. He threw his arms open in the middle of the room and ran from person to person, with a huge smile on his face, giving everyone a big hug. He was so genuinely happy and grateful. Which is all I wanted for him. I’m a very happy and proud mama.

Jack visited the pumpkin patch with some buddies last week and had a blast.
We celebrated Jack’s very first Sukkot with a small sukkah party. Jack enjoyed his first meal in the sukkah, and some of his friends made it feel like home with hand made decorations.
With a little help from our friends, the sukkah went up last week.
