While Jack isn’t getting on a bus and heading to school today with the other neighborhood kids, he did crawl for the first time this morning.

There is not enough time in Jack’s busy schedule, so eating and playing have to coincide. He is trying to get it all in before the hurricane hits.

A few more photos from our family session that I didn’t post the other day.

Jack is on the verge of crawling. We have hours of footage just like this one, waiting for the big moment.

Jack enjoyed his first taste of ice cream, first pig race and first county fair yesterday.

Last month the fabulous Korie Lynn shot our family portraits at Butler’s Orchard. We visit Butler’s Orchard year round to pick strawberries, blueberries, wildflowers and of course pumpkins and apples.

One of Jack’s friends at daycare celebrated his birthday with a visit from Squeals on Wheels. We dropped by to visit with Jack and the animals, and pet the bunnies!

Thank you so much to all of Jack’s grandparents, as well as his Great Aunt Gail, for watching Jack last week. They took off work, travelled to our home, and took outstanding care of the J-man while we relaxed on a beach.

After a week of intense teething and caring for a baby, we received emails from everyone saying how they can’t wait to do it again. Our home was spotless when we returned and our son could not have been happier. We are both so grateful to have such a supportive and loving family who repeatedly go above and beyond. Jack is so blessed to have so many grandparents who love him so much. Thank you again, we love you more than I can say!

Jack says “Dada” when he sees Ryan now, and always lights up for his dad. Still no “Mama” yet.
