Last weekend, Jack had a full calendar. He spent Saturday at the Gaithersburg Book Festival. On Sunday, he attended Shaare Torah’s annual cookout, where he hung out with old friends, and made several new ones. That afternoon, he visited Butler’s Orchard, and took a nice nap while I picked strawberries.

Last weekend Jack made his first visit to Terp territory, the University of Maryland, College Park, for Maryland Day.

Thanks to Zayde for the portraits!

Jack is definitely his mother’s kid, father’s too. Which features do you think Jack inherited from which parent? Ryan’s baby picture is on the left, and Rachael’s is on the right.

A huge thank you goes out to Barbara Salisbury who stuck with us through the night, and took some of the most incredible photos of Jack’s first moments as part of our family. Thanks so much Barbara!

It was nearly 50 degrees earlier this week and we took Jack for a walk through the neighborhood.

Savta Arlene watched Jack while Ryan and I celebrated our first meal out at Blue Duck on the seven year anniversary of our first date.

Thanks to Ryan for the great photos. It’s nice to be on the other side of the camera for a change!
